What is Roadrunner TBall Smash?

Entering into our 3rd year, the TBall Smash is a great children’s summer activity for children from Lower Plenty, Montmorency, Greensborough, Eltham, Briar Hill, Heidelberg, Mill Park, Watsonia, Diamond Creek, Research and any other suburb in the Banyule and Nillumbik Shires.

TBall Smash is a fun way for families, girls and boys to get active and learn new skills using tee ball and baseball as it’s platform. Kids and their friends will play different action packed games involving running, throwing, hitting and catching balls of all sizes and colours....and there even may be the odd high five shared throughout the session!

Overview of the program includes:

  • For girls and boys aged 5 – 7 and first time to baseballers aged 8-12
  • Run over 11 weeks with a break for summer holidays;
  • Starts 27 October and finishes 23 February.
  • The end of the year is then celebrated with a region wide Tball Gala on Saturday March 3rd.  Details will be confirmed closer to the date.

A Family Environment

Mums, dads, brothers and sisters are encouraged to get involved. We will also have a bbq following each session so if you want, you can have your Friday night dinner at the ball club with family and friends.

If you have younger children, there is playground equipment for the younger ones to play on while the big sisters and brothers are having a blast on the ball field, making Tball Smash not only a great children’s activity, but fun for the whole family!
